Poco has confirmed the processor details for its upcoming Poco X6 series and Poco M6 Pro smartphones, which are set to launch on January 11. The Poco X6 will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC, while the Poco X6 Pro will get a MediaTek Dimensity 8300 Ultra chipset. The Poco M6 Pro will carry a MediaTek Helio G99-Ultra chipset.
Poco X6
The Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC is a mid-range processor that was announced in July 2023. It is built on a 6nm process and features eight Kryo 662 cores, an Adreno 662 GPU, and a Qualcomm Snapdragon X62 5G modem. The Poco X6 is expected to come with 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of storage.
Poco X6 Pro
The MediaTek Dimensity 8300 Ultra is a flagship processor that was announced in December 2023. It is built on a 4nm process and features eight Cortex-A78 cores, an Arm Mali-G710 MC10 GPU, and a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 5G modem. The Poco X6 Pro is expected to come with 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 128GB, 256GB, or 512GB of storage.
Poco M6 Pro
The MediaTek Helio G99-Ultra is a gaming-focused processor that was announced in September 2023. It is built on a 12nm process and features eight Arm Cortex-A76 cores, an Arm Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, and a MediaTek HyperEngine 2.0 gaming suite. The Poco M6 Pro is expected to come with 4GB or 6GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB of storage.
All three smartphones are expected to run Android 13 out of the box. The Poco X6 and Poco X6 Pro are also expected to feature 120Hz refresh rate displays, while the Poco M6 Pro will likely have a 90Hz refresh rate display.
The Poco X6 series and Poco M6 Pro are all expected to be launched in India on January 11. The Poco X6 is expected to start at around Rs. 17,999, while the Poco X6 Pro could start at around Rs. 24,999. The Poco M6 Pro is expected to be priced starting at around Rs. 12,999.
